One of the scouts of Monaco FC revealed that this team was trying hard to transfer Karim Ansarifard from Saipa FC to France.
Monaco FC has sent its scout, Mustafa, to Iran in order to monitor the performance of players in 2012 AFC U-16 Championship being held in Tehran. In the sideline of this tournament, Mustafa revealed the enthusiasm of his side to hire Karim Ansarifard. “On Sunday I went to Isfahan to watch the match between Sepahan FC and Persepolis. It was two years ago when I found Karim Ansarifard playing for Team Melli. It was the match versus North Korea and luckily Karim Ansarifard scored the winning goal for his side. From that time we are closely monitoring Ansarifard and we are interested in signing with him. He has perfect talents and abilities. Ansarifard has enough potential to become one of the best players in European leagues if he continues his hard trainings.”
Mustafa also expressed his views over AFC U-16 Championship by saying: “I always believe that the next great players will come from Asia. I’m here to find talents and players with fantastic potentials. I have also found some good players during these days here and one of them is Iranian. I can’t reveal the name at this time.”
Monaco FC has hired Ibrahima Touré, who is the top scorer of Ligue 2. From 2007 to 2011 he used to play in Iran and then transferred to Emirate side, Ajman. “We signed with Touré because of his past great performance in Iran Pro League.” Mustafa said.
