Ayatollah Sadegh Amoli Larijani, head of the judicial system of Iran, blamed United States for removing the name of MKO group from its terrorism blacklist.
“Mujahadeen-e-Khalq terrorism organization used to receive support from the United States even before entering the terrorism blacklist. Americans helped them to continue their cruel activities in Iraq’s soil without any problems and restrictions. Now the place of U.S. has been endangered in Iraq and all over the world so they decided to remove the name of Mujahadeen-e-Khalq terrorism organization from blacklist.” Ayatollah Sadegh Amoli Larijani said during a session with top officials of Iran’s judicial system.
“Authorities of the United States claim this group didn’t commit any terrorist operations in the last ten years so they removed MKO group from blacklist. According to the reports of RAND institution, MKO group continued its terrorist activities on 2009.” Sadegh Larijani added. Recently many Iranian politicians have expressed their wrath against United States over removing the name of MKO group from terrorism blacklist.
Ayatollah Sadegh Larijani also talked about the foreign policy of Islamic Republic of Iran in nuclear dispute. “Iran is not looking to develop nuclear weapon and this issue is an only pretext for Western countries to increase their pressures on Iran.”
United States and European countries have applied hard sanctions on Iran to stop this country from producing nuclear weapon which threats Middle Eastern countries especially Israel.
