Amir Abedini, the president of Damash Gilan FC, has revealed that he is negotiating with Ali Karimi and Farhad Majidi to sign them and bring these two veterans footballers to Damash.
“We were negotiating to sign a Brazilian player but canceled the deal. In the beginning of the negotiations the Dollar exchange rate was only 21,000 Rials but now it’s more than 30,000 Rials. So signing a foreigner player will cost much for us.” Amir Abedini discussed his problems.
“Controlling the popular and famous players is not that easy job. The coaches and managers of Persepolis FC don’t know what to do with Ali Karimi. We are ready to sign Ali Karimi if his club let us to do.” Amir Abedini said. Recently Ali Karimi has outraged in Persepolis FC and the Portuguese head coach of his club, Manuel José, announced that Karimi doesn’t have any place in squad for this season. Ali Karimi is one of the most popular Iranian footballers in history and holds a fantastic fan base.
On the other hand the other giant club of Tehran, Esteghlal FC, didn’t sign Farhad Majidi. He was the former captain of Esteghlal FC. Majidi announced his retirement from professional football earlier and blamed the officials of Esteghlal FC for his decision. “We are also ready to hire Farhad Majidi.” Amir Abedini added.
