Gholam Ali Haddad-Adel, Tehran representative in Majlis, stated that no country can take military action against Islamic Republic of Iran.
“No country has enough capability to attack Iran and the current threats are just propaganda for the U.S. presidential election.” said Haddad-Adel, the former speaker of Iran’s parliament. He also refused the threats by Israel and the United States against this country. Israel has repeatedly threats Iran over its disputed nuclear program.
“I have yet to conclude on participation in the upcoming presidential election. It is subject to my ability in managing and directing the country. I will announce my candidacy if I feel the sense of duty.” Gholam Ali Haddad-Adel added. There are some rumors about Haddad-Adel over his nomination for the next presidential election in Iran scheduled to be held on the next Persian year.
Haddad-Adel naturally is a conservative politician but no hardliner party has announced support for him until now. It’s good to know that the main challenge in the next election is between conservative parties and according to analysts, reformer groups don’t have enough chance to win the election. Several politicians have recommended Haddad-Adel to not announce nomination for presidential election because he doesn’t have acceptance among conservatives.
