Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, the Chairman of Iran’s Expediency Council, says Israel is worried about Islamic awakening condemning the anti-Islam movie produced by Israeli director.

Rafsanjani issued a message condemning the insulting film against Prophet Muhammad. In his statement, Rafsanjani emphasized on a new shamelessly and brazenly plot designed by Israeli lobbies for Muslims in Middle East and Africa. “Zionism and world imperialism attacks against sanctities of the Islamic values have a long history. Zionists and their Western supporters are worried about the wave of Islamic awakening in recent years. So they have increased the rate of their aggressive movement.” He also called for unity between Muslim nations against Israel and United States for their anti-Islam activities.

It is good to know that Islamic awakening term is innovated by Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and it refers to Arab Spring used by European and American media.
