The former Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) chief commander and current Expediency Discernment Council secretary Mohsen Rezaee said that the current missile and anti-aircraft defense systems in Iran are in good conditions.
“The current homemade aircrafts and drones are performing very well and they can fly for a long time and provide useful information for our military forces. Iran has been developing in this field since ending the Iran-Iraq war.” Mohsen Rezaee said. He refused to comment about the recent conflict between Iran and the United States over firing to drone entered Iran’s airspace.
It’s worth noting that Rezaee became Chief Commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps in 1981, when he was only 27 years old, and remained in the post until 1997.
Rezaee also didn’t talk about his nomination for the upcoming election. He announced his candidacy for the previous election but defeated by Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on 2009.
Mohsen Rezaee urged the politicians and government to address economical issues which have worsened the living conditions in the country.
